Remote Access access permissions

    Question

  • Hi.  Still using Remote access form MAC OS and two Windows 10 stations but it screws up the access permissions when I save files on one machine and try to copy them to another.  I can save a file on a Windows 10 system (remote from the MAC) and then try to access it directly from the MAC to copy it to the other Windows 10 system and the system says I don't have permission to move / rename / modify either the original or, more frequently, the destination file.  I have looked at the folder permissions and made sure I have modify rights on both systems but the files continue to deny me access even when I have just saved them.  The files are not set to read only  - it is an ACL issue that is not recording the correct permissions on files when they are saved.

If I restart the system that is causing the problem it seems to clear it but it is not really acceptable to have to shutdown and restart a computer to force the ACL to correctly identify which files I have access to.
