Beginner certification on VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET3.5 framework RRS feed

  • Can someone tell me some beginner certification exam that I can take in VB.NET,ASP.NET, .NET 3.5 or 4

    Any training material links would also be helpful.

  • None of the developer certifications are classed as beginner certifications. They all need at least 1-2yrs of hands-on experience (by hands-on I mean using the technology on a daily basis, not reading books etc).

    Web developer certifications are based on ASP.NET while Windows developer certifications are based on Windows Form.

  • Like Jeff said, there are no beginner MCTS exams. If you have the appropriate experience you can start with the 70-515 exam as the entry certification for the MCPD Web Developer.

    If you're a student or employee of an academic institution you should have a look at the MTA exams, which are beginner certifications.
