Hello, I've downloaded SQL Server 2008 and have put it on the SQL Server 2008 server where I want it to run. However it does not recognise the .ISO file. How do I install it please?Thursday, August 25, 2011 2:55 PM

I am sorry, I do not hink this question belongs here. However, since you asked, you must extract the contents of the ISO file and run the setup program. I kindly suggest you find someone local that can help you.

Use a program such as PowerISO, MagicISO, Virtual Clone Drive or Daemon Tools to mount the drive and run the programs
If you are having issues use your search engine of choice and search for "mount iso " and your version of Windows

You can burn the ISO image to a cd / dvd (depends on the size)
OR
you can use DAEMON tools to create a virtual drive and mount the ISO image to the virtual drive. Continue to install from that drive.
