Where is the forum for native/managed interop questions? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My question is about isolating a mixed assembly (C++/CLI) within an AppDomain.  I want to be able to unload a mixed assembly from a process by tearing down an AppDomain, but I can't because the mixed assembly escapes its AppDomain and becomes resident in the default AppDomain as well due to native/managed interop.  Where does this type of question go?  Visual C++ General?  Common Language Runtime?

  • Hi
The description of the CLR forum specificly says interop. If you have questions regarding IJW, COM and pinvoke I suggest you to post there. If you have questions regarding C++ interop, I suggest you to visit the Visual C++ Language forum, as it is part of the feature provided by the C++ compiler.
