  • I just received a notice that looked legit that my copy of windows was activated by another user.  I'm looking at the Serial right now and don't know if the notice is legit or not.  It asked for my credit card information and also my PIN Number.  Is this legit because i dont think microsoft would ask for my PIN number?

  • If it is Microsoft it wont ask you to punch in a credit card number and pin directly - rather it prompt you for a phone number to reach with / especially if you see this prompt covering your entire screen appeared and so saying piracy control.
