How are Unresolved Equity and Retained Earnings calculated in Money Plus Sunset Home and Business?

How are Unresolved Equity and Retained Earnings calculated in Money Plus Sunset Home and Business?

Unresolved Equity appears to equal Total Assets less Total Liabilities using the opening balance figures (Account Settings).

Retained Earnings appears to be the previous year's Net Income.

My question is how do you start a new money file and specify an opening balance for Retained Earnings?
