How to compress the certification pdf files when they are protected with a password RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have downloaded some of my certifications as pdf files to apply for a new job.

All my 6 certificates are each 5 MB in size meaning 30 MB alone.

Most companies if not all do not accept such a size for an attachment.

Thus I wanted to compress the pdf but I can not because the document is protected and I have no password

    to remove this protection.

    How can this be fixed?

  •  I do not know how to compress the PDFs, but I have a different suggestion: Go to the MCP site and choose the option for sharing your Transcript. This will let you create a transcript sharing password. You can then send to each company a link to the transcript sharing site along with your transcript number and the password. In this way, the company can verify that you are indeed in possesion of the certifications, without the need for attaching a set of bulky PDFs.
