the unborn record bug RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, Does any one have ever encounter this situation that the sync will failed only if I do insert and delete operation on the client side, and then sync with server?

If I just insert and then sync, or if I just delete some record and then sync, it will be successfully.

I am using DbPeerSyncProvider to do the sync up, both client and the server is SQL Server 2005 Express version.

    Any suggestion would be appriciated.

  • The main problem is that ones this situation occurs the fraimwork doesn’t sync anyting anymore. The only method to get the sync working is by deleting all the records from the tables (including the tombstone) on the client and the server.

If the tombstone (client table) has a guid that doesn’t exist on the server table the sync stops. If we manually delete the tombstone record the sync works fine again.

Any suggestion how to fix this?
