Office 2003 suddenly shows not genuine and will not update

Question
-
While cleaning up and updating my PC, it came time to bring Office SBE 2003 up to date, but Office Update shows my software as not genuine. I've followed all of the links to try to fix it including deleting data.dat file, etc., but no luck.
Running Activate in any office app says already Activated, although the MGA Diagnostic says not activated. It's a Gateway 510 running XP Home SP3, and the copy of Office SBE 2003 with SCM came from Gateway. The COA is stamped Gateway as well. Below is my Diagnostic report. Please help!

Hello Wine,
Please physically delete Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 completely from your computer. Next restart the system. This should solve the problem.
Thank you,
Stephen

Hello Wine,
Please remove Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and attempt to validate again. Let me know if this resolves what you are experiencing. Here is a quick test for you. Open your favorite Internet search engine such as http://www.live.com and type in the 25 digit key for Office 2003 Professional. Do you see several hits on this key from various sites? This may be why your seeing Office as non-genuine.
Take care,
Stephen

Thanks for your response.Doh! So you're saying the following section shows their are multiple versions installed, and while SBE is activated, Pro is not, and that could be the issue? What about the "Access 2003" - separate product that can stay?OGA Data-->
