Im at a customer who uses Dynamics CRM 4.0. He showed me something i thought didn't exist, namely he was able to start Mail Merge from Internet Explorer (nothing new) and was able to create a Letter activity after the mail merge was done.
Ive only seen this work from Outlook, but this customer has been able to get this to work from the browser aswell.
Im now upgrading them to CRM 2013, but i cant get Mail Merge in CRM 2013 to function the same way as it did in their old version. As i know this feat is achievable, hopefully some of you guys got an idea? Ive already tried and disabled all the security in
Word. The version they are using in combination with CRM 4.0 is Office 2010. I am now trying to get this to work in CRM 2013 in combination with Office 2013.
