Mail Merge "CRM" button Missing in Word 2007 RRS feed

  • Several users don't get the "CRM" button in Word 2007, either on the add-ins tab or on the Mailings tab, when they open a Mail-merge Template to edit it. They therefore can't connect. I've seen this question asked but never answered - does anyone know why that button, which runs a macro or something, wouldn't show up? I've checked the security roles and the permissions are there.

  • This ended up being a network issue. The computer in question had all kinds of trouble connecting to other domain resources as well.

  • The first thing I'd check is the Macro Settings in Word (Options, Trust Centre, Macro Settings). If macros are disabled, then the user won't see the button

  • I'm having this problem with CRM 2011 and Word 2010. All Add in, Macro and ActiveX settings are enabled, and I have network connectivity, but still no CRM button. Anyone who can help out there? Thanks.

  • Getting the same problem - flipping nightmare.  I have added to trusted sites , I have everything correct in teh trust center and still - zip.
