onecare keeps not responding RRS feed

  • I just installed the onecare.  In fact, a number of times.  When I try to open the program, the window will be on the screen for only about 10 sec and then go white.  When I try to close it, it says that  the program is not responding.  The icon is in the sys tray and it says that the status is 'good'.  I only had windows firewall and antivirus on the computer when I installed this.  I read that these did not have to be uninstalled prior to installing this. 

     

    Any ideas what I can do to get this to work?  Thanks

  • This could be caused by Terminal Services being stopped or disabled. Go to Start>Run and enter "services.msc" without the quotes in the Run box. When the Services Console opens scroll down to Terminal Services. Double click Terminal Services and if it is stopped start the service. Also check that the startup type is set to "Automatic".
