Error installing webcomponents RRS feed

    I have win2003srv rc2 with iis 6.0 when i try to install OCS2007 i have the following error:

     

    ConfigureIIs:  Error 0x80070490: failed to find web site: 'WebSite_DefaultWebSite'
    ConfigureIIs:  Error 0x80070490: failed to read IIsWebSite table
    Error 26002. Failed to read IIsWebs table.   (-2147023728         )
    MSI (s) (F4!D4) [23:12:12:671]: Product: Office Communications Server 2007 Public Beta, Web Components -- Error 26002. Failed to read IIsWebs table.   (-2147023728         )

    Can evebody help me?

     

    PS: the default website exists with id 1

    Configure the IIS Default Web Site with the IP address set to All Unassigned.

  • If you are sure about the certificate, check the time and time zone on the server.

    Have you run through the Configuring Certificates section of the deployment guide, starting on page 14?

    Have you assigned the certificate to the web components server (IIS)?

  • Now the installation work fine but i have the problem that any service of Office communication can start.

    the error is the following:

     

    The subject name mail.e-gate.it of the certificate assigned to process AVMCUSvc(4596) was not found in the trusted server list. 
    Certificate serial number: CN=e-GATE, DC=e-gate, DC=local
    Certificate issuer name: 612F2815000000000039.

     

     

    I'm sure the certificate is trusted because the CA is the same server.

     

    Some suggestion?

    Hi,

     

    I have the same problem. The Defaults Web Site is configure to All Unassigned, but the error is always there.

     

    Another idea ?

    Hy, do you have more than one Websites?

    Make sure that the Default Website have Port 80 and any Hostheader on the Default Page.
