wireless drivers RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Pavillion dv9000 and an unable to view wireless networks.  OS system is XP.  I cannot find any wireless drivers on my system and have tried to install from HP site.  Still no luck.  There is a wireless switch and a blue light comes on when it recognizes a wireless network - has worked in the past.  Help

  • Hello jrpoductions525,

All of the laptops that I have seen with a switch for the wireless part of the computer use the switch to enable or disable the wireless radio at the hardware level.

If the light is off, the wireless radio is disabled and Windows will not be able to use any wireless networks.

Since you question does not have anything to do with WGA, your best option for support at this point would be IMO the customer-to-customer support forums at hp's support website.

    Good Luck!
