i hadn't any problems with installing w7 rc. everything works fine (with some post install driver updates).
i was install w7 32-bit on my dell latitude d830 portable (intel T7500 2,2ghz 1gb ram, vga nvidia quadro nvs135m-128mb). after installing i was update vga driver (vista32 driver version 179.24), dell touchpad (vista32 driver oem dell 7.1.102.7),audio driver (vista32 driver oem sigmatel 6.10.0.5614) and (not necessary) chipset driver (vista32 driver oem intel 8.2.0.1014). before update evrything works good (except touchpad can't scroll, vga size 4mb and unknown modem - nothing crucial) after this few updates everything works perfect. my first experiences are excellent. faster than vista and easier for use, handle, maintain and accommodate. all compliments for integrated video/audio codecs.
about programs that i use and suggest:
MS Office2007 - working fine
adobe cs3 - working fine (all parts)
ahead nero 8 - working fine
corel draw x3 - working fine
winzip 9.0 - working fine
winrar 3.4 - working fine
oracle 11g - working fine (database and developing tools)
eset nod32 v4 - working fine
and for the end
i have some suggestions about installation - back button (or option) can be usefull (i haven't see it).
