Windows Storage 2003 Single Instance Storage on Autocad files

I intend to enable the Single Instance Storage(SIS) features in the Windows Storage 2003 server. But my concern is will that affect our autocad files which shares a lot of common library files. If something goes wrong with the SIS services, can we still open up all the autocad files?
