Over the last few weeks, I have tried many of the suggestions for straightening around my XP (home) which is getting slower by the day, it seems, and it freezes for as much as a couple of minutes with increasing frequency. I found the Fix it software on-line,
but that said it doesn't support my version of Windows. So, I downloaded the software, installed it without hitch, but have not been able to run it. When I try, even after a windows re-boot, the program initializes, tells me to wait while it examines my computer,
then immediately hangs, and the characters in the Fix it window break apart. How best can I resolve this? I'd like to upgrade to Win 7, but the transition from XP to 7 isn't fun.
Peace,
Dave
