New copy is requiring a new subscription RRS feed

    Can someone please help me with this stupid onecare? I just bought a new copy from office max and installed it on my computer and its still saying my subscription will stop in 14 days. I'v updated it and everything and still its in the yellow

  • Open One Care and click the "Activate" button. This should open the Activation Wizard. Follow the prompts and when you reach the page that asks for payment method select "pre-paid PIN. Enter the 25 digit product key included with your retail CD.

  • If you already activated and used the same LiveID that you had an original subscription with, you need to renew using the retail product key. An uninstall is not required. Sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com, select the renew Link for your OneCare subscription and select the option to renew with a PIN or Token, which is the retail key.
