Manipulating Specific Applications Audio? RRS feed

  • Question

  • First I'd like to apologize if this is the wrong place to ask. If this is the wrong place please advise as to where I should post.

I'm trying to write an application in python that will allow the user to apply an EQ to a specific application.

Where can I find information / tutorials on interacting with the Windows audio stack? I've read quite a bit about kernal streaming and the WDM audio architecture over the last week but have no context to the information learned.

    Thank you for your time.
