  • What abiut it?  It clearly states "counts as credit towards" MCPD.  It doesn't state you'll get your MCPD by completing this exam.

The exam title is 70-562: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development which also clearly shows that this exam in a MCTS exam, NOT a MCPD exam

  • No.  Exam 70-562 is a MCTS exam only.  Did you read the links I provided as they explain what exams you need to do to become a MCPD?

  • As previously advised, exam 70-562 is a MCTS exam only.  Doing exam 70-562 will give you a MCTS certification, NOT MCPD

  • Furthermore, if you look at the PDF/XPS documents linked to the two MCPD links you provided, you can clearly see what exams (plural, meaning more than one exam) you need to complete to get these certifications.
