Suggest a button to jump to bottom of thread where newest replies appear

Question
-
I find it tedious to manually scroll through older replies to a thread I am tracking in order to get to the bottom of the thread and see the latest reply. I wish I could either click a link that takes me to the bottom of the thread, or set an option so that all threads are sorted with newest replies appearing at the top instead of at the bottom.

The Last Reply link on each thread should work for this. Here's an example thread in the forum view with Last Reply in bold.

That's great, thanks! I wonder if it's just me or if that solution is not obvious to others too?

It's not you, I didn't know about it either and I spend around four hours a day in the forums.
Goes off to check that it works in "My Forum Threads" too. It does ...
How long has it been here, Andrew ?

It's still not obvious to me. Where is this link?Friday, July 31, 2009 1:22 PM

Since the beginning I think, I just looked back at a screenshot from the UI last year and it was there. I guess it was just never very obvious.

From the forum view (ex: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/suggest/threads)
Then look for a thread with at least one reply. It's the 3rd line, first link.

Oh, i see it now. Its there on the thread view, but not the individual pages. Hmm... i use both, depending on mood and if i expect to reply. So, it'll work sometimes but not others.Friday, July 31, 2009 3:24 PM
