Configuring Data Migration Manager RRS feed

  • Hi!

    I am geting error when i am configuring Data migration Manager for MSCRM 4.0 its gives the following error while signing  

    "Action Microsoft .crm.config.common.GrandDatabaseAccessAction failed.Windows NT user or group domain\administrator not found check the name again"

    Although in the Active directory User id with all admin & domain rights are properly given . Please help in this regards

  • Make sure you have installed DMM on a 32-bit workstation, and not on a 64-bit computer or on the same computer as your CRM server or SQL Server are installed. You should be logged on to the workstation with a local admin account and should be a CRM user with a system administrator security role.

  • Check the istance you are installing the DMM databas to, default or express instance, and make sure that the user you are using domain\administrator have the dbcreator role on this instance.
