It keeps saying that my MS Office is not genuine

Question
-
About a year ago I had a message that said that my MS office 2000 was not genuine. After some investigation I found out that to be the case so I bought from Microsoft directly Office Home and student 2007 and installed it and it works fine except I'm still getting the message that it's not genuine. I'm happy to provide invoice details etc...

Hello mtrep,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->
Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage - 114 Blocked VLK 2
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 100 Genuine
OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
Signed By: Microsoft
Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-230-1Your computer has two installations of Microsoft Office.
1. Your installation of Office XP Professional with Front Page is a nongenuine Volume Licensing installation that was done with a widely pirated and now blocked Volume Licensing Product Key. This nongenuine installation of Office is what is causing the nongenuine software notices. Please remove this installation of Office, then restart the computer twice, to stop the notices.
2. Your installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is showing as a genuine installation of a retail license for Office Enterprise 2007, which means this installation was made under the auspices of the Home Use Program (HUP).
The mgadiag utility is not programmed to report on Office installations earlier than Office XP, so if the computer has an installation of Office 2000, it would not show up in the report. There is no installation of Office Home and Student 2007 on this computer.

Instead of all the paperwork, how about posting the MGA Diagnostic report shown in the announcements on this forum. That will help us help you more.Friday, October 15, 2010 3:55 AM -
