WMI Provider Host devouring CPU RRS feed

    First off, my apologies if this is in the wrong subforum.

    WMI Provider Host is currently at 10-12% of my CPU but can spike to 40%+ at times. Event viewer gives a clear reading of the error ID, but it changes every time I restart my computer. the problem is the ID that is giving off the error is never shown on the services list under task manager, so there is no way for me to disable the problem software.
