Blue screen after log on shut down to protect computer. RRS feed

  • Can anyone help with my options.
    Im running windows vista.  Everytime i start my laptop after the log in screen i get a blue screen telling me my computer is shutting down for its protection.
    Wat do i do?

  • check your memory or any newley installed hardware

    The outher day i was installing  windows on a computer the one memory module out of the 4 would work to get a post but the bios would not detect it as bad  and would faill under load of windows    

    I removed some memory and retryed. it is now working   hop this helps />
