New session webBrowser??? RRS feed

  • Hi to all, sorry for my english i have a problem with my application, when i run my application that go and enter in my account email i use webBrowser, but when i run for second time my application and i want access a my second email account that begin with the last session of my first account email .... i want have 2 session open one for my first account and the second for my second account at same time , how can I do that?

  • Generally SessionControl is done via cookies. And there is a standing rule that you cannot have more then one cookie per website per browser. There is no reliable way to differentiate between browser instances from the Server side.

    While most session systems have a fallback system "in case Cookies do not work" (appending the SessionID to all links that point to other parts of the application) this is expressively a fallback. Appending SessionID's to links caries strong security risks (what if the user put's the link into a mail?) and has the problem that links may not work properly if beetween copying them and using them the session was ended.

    Those are inherent limitations in HTTP and you should rather try to live without them then trying to work around them.
