Subsription renewal RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought two packages of Windows Live one care last 2007.   I only used one of those to subscribe to Windows Live One Care.  Now my subscription is about to end, can i still use the second package that i bought last 2007?

    Thanks in advance

  • Yes, you can use the key to renew.
However, if your current subscription is due for renewal, when you go to https://billing.microsoft.com and sign in, you will be presented with a free 6 month extension and no way to use your key for a 12 month extension. If you want to use the key and get 12 months, you must contact support. You'd be giving up the 6 months free, but will be able to add 12 months to the current subscription.
You can also use the other key by reinstalling and activating with a different LiveID, in effect abandoning the current subscription instead of renewing it.
