Cannot activate Win7 Ultimate (Retail) on new PC

Question
-
Hi,
I've just transferred to a new PC at work, and I'm trying to activate Windows 7 on the new PC using the same product key. (Obviously I'm not intending to use the old one any more with this product key). It is a boxed retail copy that was successfully registered > 2 years ago on the old hardware.
At the moment it's telling me that it can't activate online:
The following information was found for this error: Code: 0xC004C003 Description: The activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked.
I tried the automated phone system (I'm in the UK), but that just tells me I "may" have been a "victim of piracy" and hangs up. Where do I go from here?
BTW: I'm an MSDN Premium subscriber so I've switched to one of my MSDN Product Keys for now, but as I understand it I shouldn't use that for my main day-to-day PC, so I'd like to switch to my "real" key if possible.
MGADiag output:

There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the report – except that possibly it’s an Upgrade? Please check the media to see. (the report doesn’t tell us that)You should try telephone activation again, and speak to an operator.telephone activation.
Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you.

Thanks for the info; particularly on how to get through to a person!
I've been on the phone and I've got a support case opened. It looks like I've got to get it escalated to the next level of tech support, but unfortunately I need a photo of the original COA/Product key label, and some *ahem* helpful person has apparently thrown it out. We've got some others, but not mine :-(
Oh well. I guess I'll either use one of my MSDN keys (in the knowledge that we have actually purchased a valid license), or we'll have to buy another copy.
Thanks again for the help.
James

Sounds like MSDN is the way to go – especially if you don’t have a spare wad of cash lying around :)Doncha love it when people ‘tidy up’ for you? :/ (maybe it ‘went walkabout’, and that’s the reason it’s blocked, after being activated on a couple of dozen machines?)Good Luck!
