How do I remove a computer and add a new computer to my subscription? RRS feed

    I recently retired one of my computers and purchased a new one.


    How do I update my OneCare registration so that the record for the obselete one is removed  and I can add the new one in?

  • There is no management interface for you to do this. Simply install OneCare to the new PC and activate with the same LiveID. If you have more than one PC with OneCare on the same subscription and they are all running version 2.0 of OneCare, you can make one or more PCs a "hub" which will show the status of the other activated PCs in your "Circle." In that case, you can remove a PC from the subscription by using that option on the hub PC, which will de-activate the PC. This is not required, though, nor is it possible unless all of the PCs are on 2.0 and at least one has been made a hub.
