  • Question

  • My Pc recently crashed, luckily a week before the crash I did a CareOne back up to my external harddrive.  Well I thought I was lucky.  I recently replaced the harddrive and in the process of restoring the files automated way as well as the manual way and its telling me that my some of my files are corrupted and or non existent.  I then have others that I manually copy and paste into my picture and it does nothing.  I cannot even open these.  Help I have over 2000+ picture and I can only manually recover an 1/8 of them at this point.

  • If you are unable to use the OneCare restore wizard to recover your backups, please contact support -

I suspect that the reason you can't manually open some of the archives is that the compression level might require a newer version of a program such as Winzip and that Windows compressed folders can't deal with it.
