Forcing system files to one drive??? RRS feed

    Very simple question.  Is there a way to direct all of my shared data (non-system) to be stored on certain drives???

    1 – 400GB PATA drive
    3 – 2TB SATA drives off a SATA controller card


    I want to force system related data to be stored on the 400GB drive to ease a complete reload if ever necessary.

    There's no supported way to do so. By design, there should be no need, however. You turn duplication on for all shares, and even if there's data from your shares on the system drive, there's a copy on another drive as well, so nothing is lost in the event of reinstallation.
