    Is it possible to add additional codecs for Dlna.  I have most of my CDs ripped in flac format and they do not show up when I connect to the server.  The ones that are mp3 work fine.

    You can try installing additional codecs from the server desktop, either logging in to the machine using keyboard and monitor, or using a remote desktop connection to the server. I don't guarantee it will work for you, however, and you should bear in mind that anything you do using the desktop is unsupported.

    i installed the flac codec on my win 7 system and WMP and WMC both see them.  i installed the same codec on the server and WMP can see them.  the dlna service is not serving flac files.

    Not a complete surprise, I'm afraid, since the DLNA server isn't part of Windows Media Player.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
