Draft Post has disappeared RRS feed

  • Question

  • Having spent 4 hours working on a post, and saving it veery few minutes, I am devastated to find that it literally disappeared while I was using WLW. WLW just suddenly closed itself for no apparent reason, and the dpost I was working on has gone. It's not in the draft post folder, or in the Recycle Bin. Any idea what to do about this, or why it it might have happened in the first place?

    Thanks in advance

  • I am sorry that you lost your draft.  I don't know what that would have happened.  Usually when we crash without any reason it is because of some kind of error that in Internet Explorer, which we use for WYSIWYG editor.

In the future we are investigating ways to improve the auto-save and backup features of Writer to prevent this from happening.

Once again, sorry for the data lost!

  • Thanks, Brandon
I was hoping you'd be able to tell me it was stored as  a hidden data file somewhere! Oh well, thanks anyway.
