Office 2007 Enterprise Trial & Server 2003 Standard - not genuine? RRS feed

    Hello,

    I'm using and learning Office 2007 Enterprise Trial Version running on Windows Server 2003 Standard with SP2.

    The copy of Windows, I've obtained from MSDN AA program on my university, surely is genuine and activated.

    Downloadable MS Office 2007 Enterprise Trial Version has been also succesfully activated and registered.

     

    Genuine Validation ( http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?displaylang=en ) of both Windows and Office fails with results:

    for Windows: Validation is not currently supported for this version of Windows or for this non-Microsoft operating system.

    for Office: The Office Genuine Advantage validation tool cannot be run on this computer. In order to successfully run the validation tool, you must be using Microsoft Windows® 2000 or a later version of Windows.

    However, genuine validation passes when downloading software from MS Download Center for customers running genuine Microsoft Windows or Office. The results obviously are: "Genuine Microsoft Software" and "Genuine Microsoft Office Software"
