I tried to download (to local disk) the installation dvd iso and other other files in the RTM eval edition release multiple times from the connect site using FTM. Independent of download location and transfer speed settings it failed consequently for each of the files (except the one with the CRC values and the Client installation CD) with a file validation (hash) error:
I got somewhat frustrated by this, so I saved the .TMP file from the finished download at the moment the error was reported. (When you get the error, click on details, then browse to the folder where FTM stores the download, rename the TMP to the appropriate name (copy from the CRC file).
When I check file size and CRC32 they are both exactly as expected. Didn't burn DVD yet, however I think this will also be no problem.
