Dynamics security issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have installed Dynamics CRM on a SBS 2011 server to evaluate it.

I have created a user (me) and made it an administrator in Dynamics using the admin log in on the server. The dynamics

web front end seems to work fine from the server when logged in as the Administrtor account I installed it under.

On my desk top, when I connect using my browser it asks me to enter my username and password over an over again, three or more times.

After doing this the page is displayed. On the front page the charts are red outline with "you do not have sufficient privileges to view the chart object, contact your system administrator".

I don't know what to do as I seem to have given it all the privileges I can.

    thanks

  • This could be more an issue with your client browser settings than the CRM security roles

  • Hi

Thanks: This is not the case. I have set dynamics site to trusted and the security is minimum.

I have to report on my evaluation this week and at the moment my assessment is pretty grim

given the difficulty of getting it working.

    kind regards

  • Hi,

What user do you use from your desktop computer to access CRM? same which you use on CRM server (administrator?) if yes, do you put computer/domain name before login (xxxxxxx\administrator). Or if you use other user name, did you created this user in CRM?
