SOA Model Latency Report - Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok, the SOA Svc Config report is working now, but I'm getting errors in the SOA Model Latency report.  On both compute nodes I'm getting failures for the BasicHttpBinding and NetTCPBinding service test.

    Error for BasicHTTP:
The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:58.7811642. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

    Error for NetTCP:
This request operation sent to net.tcp://avha8d80:9087/Broker/46 did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:01:00). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the service was unable to send a reply message. Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by casting the channel/proxy to IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property) and ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.

I'm not sure if this is really a timeout issue.  My experience with WCF so far would suggest that it's something else, as these are familiar catch-all messages that I've run into before for timeout unrelated reasons.

This is still the default cluster SOA configuration, no other services have been added.
