Office 2007 not genuine ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

Here is the result from my system:

Any help in understanding the reason for the unexpected pop-ups upon starting Office 2007 applications would be appreciated.  My copy of Office 2007 is believed to be genuine, and the tool output cited above appears to confirm this, but the pop-up claims iotherwise.

    Thank you for your help,

The copy of Office installed here is a Volume Licensed version - sold only in bulk to organisations for use on their own machines.
If you are a member of such an organisation, please contact your System Admin for assistance in solving the problem - if you are individual who bought this copy of office, then you were sold a counterfeit copy, and need to attempt to claim a refund from the vendor.
If the counterfeit is good enough, then you may be able to claim a complementary copy of Office from MS

If you have what might be counterfeit materials, please go to www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button.  If Office fails validation, look on the that page for links to the Complimentary Replacement Program.  Follow the link to learn how to send your counterfeit copy of Office to Microsoft to be replaced by a complimentary copy.
