Activity Feeds import solution error for CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I downloaded the Activity Feeds from CRM Marketplace today so I am assuming it is the most recent version.  However, when I try to import the solution into CRM I receive this error message:

Any idea how to fix this?  Should I edit the minimum version in the XML or is that a bad idea?  Thanks

Answers

  • You need to install the latest rollup on your CRM On-Premise before you try to import the activity feeds solution.

  • I found rollup 5 which I installed.  I am installing rollup 6 right now.  Hopefully it shouldn't cause any problems.  Then, I will try to import the solution.  Thanks for your help

  • It worked!  I updated to Rollup 5 first (not sure if this is necessary or not).  Then installed Rollup 6 and imported the solution.  Thanks again!
