Unable to post Images/URLs

Question
-
Hello,
It seems that I'm unable to post images/URL's in my body text for a message. It's giving me the error:
Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account.
This seems like a fairly straightforward error, however, I have no idea how long it takes, or if I have to take steps to get verified. I signed up for my forum account about two days ago.
Any tips on where to go from here? Thanks!

Because of increased spam we have tightened up on what activities new users can and cannot do. The best advice would be to continue participating within the community and you will be granted the ability to post images and links.- Proposed as answer by Richard MuellerMVP, Banned Tuesday, October 9, 2012 12:44 AM

If you don't get the verification email then I'd ask them via this feedback.

An unofficial tip is to submit a plain-text post. Any nonsense text will do.
Directly afterwards, edit the post to include your links+images.
I'm sure if you were a real spammer, you would have figured that out instantly. Me, I'm not a spammer either. I just make a nuisance of myself posting forum graffiti. (Or, so it seems to some). It took me a few days before I dared to try that workaround. Jeepers. I just checked. I had given up hope. But sometime within these past 10 days*, I am now finally authorized to post bodyspam like the high-point members and nepotites here. : D

Understood. Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. I would much rather have to go through this than have a community that is infested with unnecessary topics and spammers!Tuesday, October 9, 2012 1:09 AM
