Invited by Connect to use Live Mesh but Mesh is still redirecting me to Connect website. RRS feed

     Received my invitation email from Connect saying that I can now use Live Mesh, but when I log in using my Live ID on the Mesh site it forwards me to the "not allowed" page (https://www.mesh.com/Web/Error.aspx?msg=notOnAllowList) and tells me to go to the Connect website to sign up.


    It has been exactly 9 hours and 55 mins since I received the invitation email, so wondering why I can't start using.  I suspect it may be because, being in Australia, I am in a different timezone where I am 1 day (~18 hours) ahead of the USA, and that Connect might only approve my access from Wednesday onwards (i.e., it is unaware of the time difference), where the process that sent me the welcome email IS aware of the time difference.  Am I making sense?

    Hi Zaakiy,

    We just deployed a new version of Live Mesh, which might have something to do with the problem you're encountering.  Are you still unable to join?  If so, please let me know and I'll look into it.  (You can also send your Live ID to lmprev@microsoft.com and ask for verification that your account is ready.)
