Does the SyncToy support batch Files?! RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    Hi,

    I'm new here...

My boss asked me if there is a possibility to include batch files/ commands to SyncToy.

We need this, cause our external employees (technically not very well-grounded) need to synchronize their data to our server and we don't want them to start the programm and click on "run"....

We'd like to include a batch-data to their autostartscript so they don't need to synchronize on their own...

I'd be very grateful if someone could answer my question!

    Thanks in advance!

  • There is a SyncToyCmd.exe that can be added to a batch file to kick off a sync. You can take a look at the different options available on that by using "-?" parameter.

    Thanks
