    I wish to use files from my updated version within a 2004 msmoney which now cannot be upgraded.not available. If I reinstall the 2004 over the updated version believe I will not be able to convert the files as I now cannot run backups from the later upgraded version to the standard 2004. Sorry if this sounds confusing but am not a professional.

    If you are in Australia, you can install Money 2005 International English QFE2 from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26922. This version is the latest for your region and is free for anyone to use. This will read the latest data files and can be used to update your Money 2004.

    If you are in some other region, see the first, sticky post in this forum and install the appropriate version for your region.
