    I just bought and installed an HP MediaSmart Server today.

    I am discovering that the server comes with an iTunes server. I have always been using WMP and the lossless WMA format to rip my CDs. How can I change from iTunes to WMP? Will WMP be supported under WHS?

    I would appreciate if someone could let me know the status and the future of WMP under WHS before moving to iTunes.

    The HP MediaSmart Server's iTunes server is something that HP added to the base package. Windows Home Server itself includes Windows Media Connect 2.0, which is able to stream your WMA files to Windows Media Player. Just turn on Media Sharing in the WHS Console for your Music share.
