  • Before exporting the solution please click the SiteMap in below screenshot, this will add the sitemap you have changed.

After exporting solution unzip your solution and modified it as per your need and again create a zip file of modified solution and then import modified solution in your CRM and publish it.

Another easy way of modifying sitemap is to use “xrmtoolbox sitemap editor” tool.

    Thanks,

    Sam

  • Hi Sam

You're using an English version of crm i'm using the french one.

But for the way, i used the same . Exporting sitemap, unzip the default folder and modified customization xml file . I saved, select all and move to zip file.

Then on the solution view, i reimported my new zip file.

It's the same thing that you described.

Now i think that i had a problem on my server. i changed procedure. Before importation, i restarted my server and then i re-import my zip file.

It was fast, the importation was Ok. and i publish all.

    Now it OK.

Ps: I know this way is not very clear. And may be i had a problem on my server which create this instability.

  • Did you first add sitemap to a solution and then export the solution? I believe that you should that first and then you unzip the solution, edit sitemap, zip the solution back up and then import it.

Or perhaps there is an error in your XML modifications?

  • Thanks,

I exported the sitemap, unzip it and i modified customization xml file, then i save en zip the sitemap before import like a solution. Sometimes the importation was ok but when i tried to publish all i had this problem.
