Timesheet View in P2010 RRS feed

    Hi,

    I could not get the timesheet to group tasks by project as in P2007. Is there a way I could do it? I also find that the sort function for the timesheet is not working.

    Hi,

    in the ribbon, you have the option to choose "Group By: Project". This setting will be kept for re-visiting.
    What do you want to sort? I can't reproduce, but perhaps I am using different fields?

    Hi Barbara,

    Thanks for your reply. I did not notice the Group By:Project option, that works nicely. I still could not get the sorting to work, I use Sort Ascending or Sort Descending at the timesheet column e.g. Project Name or Task Name, but there is no effect when I click on them.

    Hi Gan,

    sorry, no good news. This does not work at the moment. As Brian wrote in http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/projectserver2010general/thread/adcd6a88-e6d6-4c35-b92e-12509e924b15 : "This is a bug in the grid, that although it looks like you should be able to sort - it does not.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  The My Tasks view does sort correctly, if that is of any help."

    P.s.: Yesterday I tried in My Tasks by mistake, so I couldn't reproduce, sorry.
