Windows Live Mail Spelling Issue


  • I have a Win7 x64 and I use Windows Live Mail for my email.

    I every now and then write eMails in Portuguese-Portugal. I've noticed that the Spell Check button never lights up.

    I have been to: Options/Mail/Spelling and in the Languages section I select Portuguese (Portugal) and click on Set As Default and it goes bold. To the right of the selction it says Available and click on Install and then changes to In queue. When I click on Apply, it goes back to Available and apparently nothing happens.

    Portuguses from Brazil won't do, because spelling is different.

    Can someone please help???
