Is the Live Writer project still under developing? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello to all~
Live Writer is great program that helps me a lot. But I heard a bad news from a blog recent, that the managers of live writer have all moved on to other places. Now the problem is though exsited writer is very stable and support add-in, there are also a lot new feathers to develop and bugs to fix.
Can anyone give us a clear message about this project?

the message about this come from:http://minimsft.blogspot.com/2009/10/windows-7-and-grab-bag-of-microsoftness.html

    quote from:liveside.net:
Now it seems unlikely that Windows Live Writer would go through all the trouble of gaining a ribbon just to cut the product, although a number of key members of the Writer team have left Microsoft recently, so who knows.

    thank you for all!

  • I shouldn't worry. The Live Writer team were at WordCamp a few weeks back, and an internal build of Writer was shown at another conference a few weeks back (which prompted my LiveSide post). Things are far from dead.
