Hi

I recently bought and installed Registry Mechanic" from PCTools, and now OneCare reports that service has been stopped or is not working. Ive uninstalled Reg Mech., rebooted,and still cannot get onecare to start.what do i do now?

Registry Mechanic may have broken a dependency that OneCare needs in order to run. However, see this post first - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2523777&SiteID=2

If that doesn't work, try a reinstall of OneCare and run the cleanup tool after the uninstall before reinstalling - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2
