  • I was able to validate and its says it genuine but it wont allow me to activate.

    Let me try and summarise what I see..
     
    You have an Asus notebook – this notebook may have come with either Vista or Win7 as the installed Operating System.
    (most likely a Win 7 install)
     
    For some reason. your OS is unable to read the BIOS SLIC table which should be present (and the report itself shows is present in some form)
     
    Your best solution is to change the Product Key, using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System Properties page – and then activate by phone.

    That error implies that you are entering the Key from the report – not the one from your COA sticker.
